The Crew

It is almost the end of 2nd grade. It is so sad. So I just wanted to say thank you to my crew. I couldn’t have done this without you! You are the best. You fill me with happiness. I love how I came in every day and there is a smile on every ones face. The 1st graders are so lucky to have you as a second grade teacher. I have learned a lot from you. Remember when we studied rocks then great people and finally ecosystems? You gave me my blog. I know I am going to 3rd grade but the crew will always be a part of my heart!

Me and my Mom

My mom is very special to me.  She cooks and cleans for me.  She is very nice.  She is very funny and fun to play with.  She makes me very happy.  We always play games together and read stories.  My mother is sweet and caring, she helps me when I am sad and makes me feel better when I feel bad, or mad.  And when I have a bad day, she cheers me up.  When I want to scream and yell, she keeps me calm.  I love her very much.  tumblr_lb6ap7Ob411qb13xjo1_400

My favorite place in Oregon

My favorite place in Oregon is Black Butte Ranch.  It has a lot of swimming pools.  I ride my bike on all the bike paths.  It is usually sunny when we go.  We visit in the summer.  My Dad and his family have been going there since he was 7 years old.  I like that our family plays games every night after dinner.  I sleep upstairs on the bunk or in the waterbed.  WAIT….pause…I was supposed to be getting to the end, anyway, we usually stay there for a week and I’ve very happy when I’m there.  The End.  and Good Night!

SPRING BREAK!

For spring break we stayed home but on the first day we went roller skating. Me and flat stella were scared but in the end it was really fun. After roller skating we went to a restaurant where you could eat with your hands. We also got to sit on the floor and the table was really low. I kept on hitting my knees on the table. “OWW!” I said. They served us 4 meals. After that  we went home and I said today was a great day and slowly fell asleep.   The next day I jumped out of bed, ran down the stairs with a big BAM! My mom said, ” shhh”! Oh my sister and dad were still sleeping.  “What are we going to……BAM! ……..What was that” I said? “Oh, I think someone woke up!” my mom said. “Oh” I said. Anyway we are going shopping today. YAY! I said. And then we heard my dad and sister come down the stairs. Oh hi I said. Then I ate breakfast. It was so good, so amazing It was cereal! DUN DUN DUN! Then I went up stairs, got dressed, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, grabbed my socks, grabbed some money. We were ready! Then we went shopping. It was so cool! I got a bunch of new clothes and a really cute bracelet. When we were done shopping we went to Auntie Annie’s and got pretzels.  Then we went back home. Stella was exhausted!

The next day, we went on a walking tour in Lake Oswego.  My mom used her phone and we found a bunch of art sculptures.  Stella posed in front of them.  Our dogs came with us.  We finished the tour with a visit to St. Honorie!  I had a chocolate eclair.  Oh My Gosh!  Amazing!  That night, we watched Harry Potter and went out for ice cream at Baskin Robbins.

Easter was fun.  We had a party and my cousins and I had to find over 100 eggs.  We also got to go on a scavenger hunt to find the “golden” egg that had $5 inside.  It was a fun Spring Break!

Flat Stanley’s Adventure

In class we were making Flat Stanley’s. Flat Stanley is a boy who was flattened by a bulletin board in the morning. But he did not cry because he was happy! He could go under doors! But in the end he did not like being flat, so his brother Arthur got a balloon blower and pumped Stanley up and that was the end of the story! When we were making them in class we noticed that there was a Flat Stella for the girls! We are excited for our adventure to start!
